Everybody knows that this is the very hot season for Indian politics due to Lok Sabha Election 2014. All the Indian political parties, their leaders, workers and supporters are busy in election campaign and to criticize other parties for each and every agenda.
Wednesday, 26th March 2014 was an important day for Indian politics because the long awaited manifesto of Congress was released between the very hectic schedules of the rallies and word-war between the leaders of all of the Indian political parties.
Undoubtedly, the citizens of India are now also waiting for the manifesto of BJP.
Congress presented its 15 points agenda, as a pledge, in its manifesto, which has broken the trend records on social media within the few hours of releasing.
Rahul Gandhi, Vice-President of Congress said that the manifesto is prepared on the basis of suggestions given by the people of country.
Rahul Gandhi has also shown his confidence for the grand victory of Congress in Lok Sabha Election 2014, while he addressed press after releasing the manifesto, and said, “Balloon of BJP will burst soon in the election 2014, as Shining India (campaign of BJP) was burst in 2004 and again the balloon of BJP got burst in 2009. I was saying same that time before election but you (press) did not believe it. Later on, the results amazed you. This time again, the results will amaze you.”
The very first reaction of BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad was, “It is not a manifesto of Congress, but it is the document of deceit. It is a rank insult to the people of the country.”
BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi criticized the manifesto by saying, “There is nothing new in the manifesto 2014 of Congress.” This statement of Narendra Modi may consider as the allegation on Congress as “a party without vision.”
This statement of Narendra Modi can not consider lightly because he is the prime ministerial candidate of BJP – one of the largest national political parties of India.
Now the question arises, “Is the manifesto 2014 of Congress is really same as the manifesto 2009, and doesn’t have new vision and mission? OR Is it the extended form of manifesto 2009?”
Have a look on the highlights of manifesto 2014 and manifesto 2009, and decide yourself that what is the truth of Congress manifesto 2014.

I’m not going into the details of each and every agenda of the manifesto 2014 and 2009, and also not talking about the action plans for these agendas.
I’m also not talking about the report card of Congress on manifesto 2009 in this post because these all issues are out of subject for this post and may different issues of debate.
I’m only trying to put the highlights of manifesto 2014 and 2009 in front of you to keep your focus to examine the reaction statement of Narendra Modi on the Congress manifesto 2014 , because the highlights themselves are saying many things.
BJP Manifesto 2014 is also about to release. It will surely interesting to compare BJP’s old and new manifesto, as well as the comparative study of Congress Manifesto 2014 and BJP manifesto 2014.
In addition to this, the reactions of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Digvijay Singh and Kapil Sibbal on BJP manifesto 2014 will also hopefully interesting to reveal the vision of both the political parties in more broader aspects.
Examine the Congress Manifesto 2014 by your own in the light of the statement of Narendra Modi, and Write us your opinion freely in the comment area below with the respect of freedom of speech, and without using any hate or abusive language.
