The Great Basin Bristlecone Pine also known as Pinus longaeva is the oldest known individual non-clonal tree in the world located in the White Mountains of California. It is the oldest known living non-clonal organism on Earth.

Pinus longaeva is a long-living species of trees. It is medium sized tree. Generally, it rises up to 5 to 15 m height (16 to 49 ft). Diameter of its trunk is recorded from 8 ft to 11 ft. Its leaves are considered as longest living leaves in any plant, some remaining green for 45 years.
