Step by Step Instructions:
  1. Dry roast Green gram at medium flame till light brown.
  2. When this green gram becomes light brown, turn it in a separate plate so that it should not over cook.
  3. Let it cool itself and then grind it in a grinder to make coarse flour.
  4. Dry roast this flour at medium flame till golden brown.
  5. Take out this flour in a separate bowl.
  6. Mix powdered sugar and cardamom powder in it.
  7. Now, Add Ghee in this mixture in small portions and mix well.
  8. Whenever you add a small portion of Ghee in your mixture and mix properly, always check your mixture that it should get consistency to make a ball or not.
  9. When your Ladoo mixture reaches at this consistency, make medium sized Ladoo from this mixture.

Recipe Notes
  1. You can adjust the quantity of Sugar as per your taste.
  2. 25 gm Ghee is the standard quantity with 100 gm Mung Dal. But sometimes the consistency of the mixture varies according to climate. In rainy season you may require less Ghee whereas in winters you may require more Ghee. It is therefore recommended to add Ghee in small portions and mix and check the consistency every time, rather than adding all the Ghee at once.
