  1. Mix maida flour and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt, salt, sugar and oil in it and knead it to make dough. Add water as per requirement.
  3. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 2 hours to ferment.
  4. Meanwhile, you can prepare stuffing mixture for your paneer kulcha.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadahi and cook finely chopped onion till golden brown.
  6. Add tomatoes in it and cook on medium flame until tender.
  7. Now add all the ingredients in it including grated paneer and cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes. Stir it occasionally.
  8. Switch off the flame after 5 minutes and let it cool.
  9. Maida dough is fermented in 2 hours. Now make 3 inch sized ball from it.
  10. Flatten it between your palms.
  11. Stuff it with a fist of stuffing mixture and seal it very well.
  12. Now, grease it slightly with oil and roll it gently with the help of rolling pin.
  13. Heat a tava and grease with oil.
  14. Then bake your paneer kulcha from both the sides. You can apply butter, ghee or oil on it.
  15. So my dear friends, now you can make delicious paneer kulcha at home and can do experiments with the spices used in stuffing.
