  1. Mix chickpea flour in buttermilk in a heavy bottom vessel and churn it very well to get a lump free solution.
  2. Now add water in it and cook it on high flame. Stir it continuously until it starts boiling.
  3. Once when it starts boiling then leave it to cook on medium flame for 20 minutes and stir it occasionally.
  4. Meanwhile, add salt as per taste in it.
  5. After 20 minutes, your Rajasthani Kadhi will cooked. Now the time to tamper it.
  6. Heat oil (or Ghee) in a pan and add all the ingredients of tampering in it and pour it immediately over Kadhi.
  7. Serve your sour and spicy Kadhi with churma dal bati, boiled rice, roti, paratha or khichdi.
Recipe Notes
  1. If you dont have buttermilk, then you can mix water in sour yogurt  and then use it.
