Beetroot raita recipe (Hindi: चुकंदर का रायता)is one of the most wonderful beetroot recipes. It is made of beetroot and curd. Some spices are also added in it for additional flavors.
Beetroot is very nutritious vegetable. You can make lots of wonderful dishes from it, i.e. pickle, raita, halwa, salad etc. Beetroot raita is one of those amazing and healthy dishes eaten in India in winter season.

- 100 gm Curd
- 2 tbsp Beetroot (grated)
- As per taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
- 1/4 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
- 2 tsp Vegetable Oil

Beetroot Raita Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
- Beat the curd properly.
- Add grated beetroot and all the spices to this curd except mustard seeds and oil.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Crackle mustard seeds in it and immediately pour it over curd to temper your raita. Mix it well.
- Serve the beetroot raita with biryani, pulao or paratha. It will double the taste of your meal.

- If you are using thick curd, then you can add some amount of water in it.
