You can easily shift on roasted food, grilled food, steamed food, shallow fried food rather than deep fried food without loosing the enjoyment of your favourite flavours. Focus on how to maintain weight by using correct cooking method and portion.
Eating small portions of high calorific food instead of large quantities is best solution to go ahead with the varieties of food. For example, there is no harm in eating your favorite ice-cream, only if you eat its 1 small scoop in a week or in a fortnight rather than eating 5 scoops at a time and then don’t eat anything for rest of the day to balance the intake of calories for that particular day.
3. Eat With Patience and Enjoy Your Food
Don’t be hurry in finishing your food. Eat your food with patience. Always remember that the digestion process starts right from the mouth. Chewing the food properly is very essential for good digestion.

Excessive intake of sugar is one of the reasons of weight gain. Again, I don’t recommend you to stop the consumption of sugar or sacrifice your favorite flavors of cupcakes, chocolates, soft drinks, tea, coffee, smoothies, and milkshake. But, I recommend you to regulate the consumption of sugar.
The easiest way to cut down the sugar intake is to reduce the quantity (portion size) and the frequency of consumption of sugar rich food and drinks. For example, if you are habitual to take tea twice a day in your office and can not reduce the frequency, then you can cut down the quantity. Instead of drinking 1 full cup of tea twice, you can gradually reduce it to 1/2 cup twice a day.
