Chickpea pickle recipe (चना अचार रेसिपी) is a delicious and easy pickle recipe eaten in North India with a great charm. It is a vegan recipe made by half boiled chickpeas, raw mango and pickle spices.
You can serve chickpea pickle with Roti, paratha, and puri. It will add a new variety in your collection of delicious pickles in your kitchen.

Ingredients
- 250 gm Chickpeas (soaked overnight)
- 250 gm Raw mango (grated)
- 250 ml Mustard Oil
- 20 gm Fenugreek seeds
- 20 gm Onion seeds
- 20 gm Fennel Seeds
- 20 gm Black Mustard Seeds
- 2 tsp Red chili powder
- As per taste Salt

Chickpea Pickle Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
- Soak chickpeas overnight in tap water to make this pickle.
- Then boil chickpeas in pressure cooker in morning till 2 whistles.
- Cool pressure cooker immediately and take out chickpeas so that your chickpeas will not split.
- Spread boiled chickpeas on a muslin cloth to get dry. Always remember, moist or wet chickpeas can ruin your pickle.
- Now heat oil till fuming point and then remove it from flame and let it come at room temperature.
- At the end, mix all the ingredients very well and fill in a jar.
- A delicious chickpea pickle will get ready to eat in 7 days.
