Coconut chutney recipe (नारियल चटनी रेसिपी) is a very popular South Indian condiment recipe. It is prepared by grinding coconut, peanut and green chili with water and have paste like consistency.
Coconut chutney recipe is mostly served with other South Indian dishes rather than eating alone, i.e. dosa, idli, sambhar, uttapam, vada etc. It is a vegan recipe and very easy recipe.
Ingredients
Ingredients Required for Coconut Chutney Recipe:
- 100 gm Coconut (chopped)
- 50 gm Peanuts (roasted)
- 2 Green Chili (roughly chopped)
- As per taste Salt
Ingredients Required for tempering Coconut Chutney:
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
- 10 Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Coconut Chutney Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
- Grind coconut, peanut and green chili in a grinder with salt and little amount of water to make smooth paste.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
- Crackle black mustard seeds and curry leaves in it.
- Pour it immediately over chutney to temper it.
- Add lemon juice in it.
- An instant coconut chutney is ready which you can serve with all South Indian dishes.
