Dhaniya Panjiri recipe (धनिया पंजीरी रेसिपी) is a sweet snack food from Indian cuisine. This dhaniya panjiri recipe is made by coriander (dhaniya) seeds powder, sugar and Ghee. Chopped dry fruits also added in panjiri to make it more nutritious.
Dhaniya panjiri recipe has a special significance on Krishna Janmashtami festival in India. It is distributed as Prasad in Krishna temples on Janmashtami. It is also consumed as fasting recipe in India.
Panjiri recipe is considered healthy recipe because there are many health benefits of panjiri are described in Ayurveda. It is a very easy and quick veg recipe to make for fasting and festivals.

- 50 gm Coriander Seeds Powder
- 25 gm Powdered Sugar
- 20 gm Almonds chips
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- Heat ghee in a karahi and roast coriander seeds powder for 5 minutes at medium flame.
- Turn it in a plate and let it cool.
- Mix all the ingredients very well and enjoy delicious Dhaniya Panjiri at Janmashtami and other festivals.
