Today I am sharing lentil soup recipe (मूंग दाल सूप रेसिपी) with you (Mung dal soup) which is very good for health. This lentil soup recipe is considered highly nutritious because mung bean is a good source of protein, dietary fiber, iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium.
It is a very easy lentil soup recipe that you can prepare instantly for your meals.
Ingredients
- 50 gm Mung Dal (lentil without skin)
- 1 Carrot (finely chopped)
- 2 Tomatoes (finely chopped)
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- 5 Garlic flakes (coarsely chopped)
- 1 piece Cinnamon stick
- 4 Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- As per taste Salt

Lentil Soup Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
- First of all soak mung dal for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pressure cooker and add cloves, cinnamon stick in it.
- After a while, add garlic and onion in it.
- Add all the ingredients and 300 ml water in it.
- Close the cooker and bring it to full pressure on high heat.
- Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.
- Allow cooker to cool naturally.
- Now remove cloves and cinnamon stick.
- Sieve the mixture.
- Nutritious and delicious lentil soup (Mung dal soup) is ready.
- Add lemon juice in it as per taste. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot.

- You can also add some other vegetables of your choice, i.e. cabbage and fresh green peas.
