Step by Step Cooking Method
- First of all, add chopped onion in mashed potatoes.
- Then add Chili powder.
- Add cumin seeds.
- Add Garam Masala.
- Add salt in it.
- Mix it well, so that you can stuff it in your Paratha.
- Now, roll a wheat flour dough ball, in a Roti of approximately 3 inch size.
- Stuff this Roti with a fist of potato-onion mixture.
- Seal it well as a dumpling.
- Apply wheat flour over this dumpling at all the surfaces, so that you can roll it again.
- Now roll it gently up to a desired size. Excess pressure of rolling pin can tear the Paratha, so you have to roll it carefully and gently.
- Put it on pre-heat Tava to bake it.
- Apply Ghee over both the surfaces of Paratha and bake it well.
- Wow! Your delicious, crispy, potato-onion Paratha is ready. You can enjoy it with curd or any pickle, chutney or tomato sauce.
Recipe Notes
Note:- For stuffed Paratha, we always need finely chopped or properly mashed or minced vegetables. Big pieces of vegetables could tear Paratha.
