You learnt the recipe of sarson ka saag in my previous post. It is incomplete without Makki Ki Roti (Makki Di Roti).
Today I’m telling you an authentic punjabi Makki Ki Roti recipe. It will fill your winter season with the fragrance of Punjab.
Ingredients
- 250 gm Maize flour (Makki ka Atta)
- 100 gm Radish (Grated)
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- As per taste Salt
- Ghee

Makki Ki Roti Recipe : Step by Step Details
- First of all sieve maize flour.
- Mix grated Radish, coriander leaves, salt and red chili powder in it.
- Knead smooth dough from it by adding water.
- Make medium size balls from this dough and roll it with the help of rolling pin.
- Bake it from both the sides on hot tava.
- Apply Ghee on both the sides of Makki ki roti during baking.
- Delicious Makki ki roti is ready. Serve it hot with sarson ka saag, butter and jaggery.
