Masala Dosa Recipe : Video
To make Dosa batter
  1. Sock rice, urad dal, chana dal and fenugreek seeds in water for 7 hour.
  2. Then after that make its paste by grinding them.
  3. Leave this paste at hot place for fermentation for 7 hour.
For stuffing mixture to stuff in masala dosa :
  1. Heat oil in a karahi.
  2. Add black mustard seeds, curry leaves, boiled mashed potatoes, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and chopped green chilli to it.
  3. Cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes.
  4. Stuffing mixture is ready.
To make Dosa :
  1. Add salt as per taste to dosa mixture and mix it well.
  2. Heat a flat tawa and grease it with oil.
  3. Pour dosa mixture over it.
  4. Spread it in a circular motion as shown in the video.
  5. Pour a small amount of oil over and around the dosa and let it bake on low flame.
  6. Meanwhile put 2 tsp stuffing mixture over it and spread it and fold your dosa from 2 opposite sides to warp the stuffing.
  7. Delicious and crispy masala dosa is ready.
  8. Serve it hot with sambar, coconut chutney and garlic chutney.

  • You can use this recipe to make Dosas without the potato filling as well.
