Date is a sweet and nutritious gift of nature. It is good source of protein, fiber, and trace elements including dietary potassium, boron, cobalt, copper, fluorine, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc.
Today I’m sharing a delicious dessert – Date Laddu Recipe (खजूर लड्डू रेसिपी). It is made of soft dates and dry fruits. This laddu recipe is an easy and healthy recipe for all.

Ingredients
- 250 gm Date (soft dates)
- 100 gm Khoa
- 2 tsp Poppy Seeds
- 2 tsp Chironji
- 50 ml Milk
- 50 gm Powdered Sugar
- 1 fist Almonds (roughly chopped)
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 cup Desiccated Coconut

Date Laddu Recipe : Step by Step Instructions
- Remove seeds of the dates.
- Grind these dates with milk in a mixer or grinder to make thick paste.
- Keep this paste aside and roast khoa in a heavy bottom karahi till it turns light pink.
- Add paste of dates and sugar in khoa and roast it on medium flame till it gets thick enough to make balls.
- When it starts to leave the surface of karahi, it is ready to make laddu.
- Switch off the flame and let it cool.
- When it comes at room temperature then add all the remaining ingredients in it except desiccated coconut and mix it well.
- Now make 2 inch size balls from it and fold them in desiccated coconut.
- Delicious and nutritious sweet dates laddu are ready.
Recipe Notes
- If you store date laddu at cool and dry place, you can easily use it for 7 days.
