Panchamrita (पंचामृत) word is derived from Sanskrit language in which “panch” means 5 and “amrita” means nectar.
It is made by mixing 5 (panch in Sanskrit) things including cow’s milk, yogurt, sugar, honey and ghee in a certain ratio.
Panchamrita is a recipe used in Hindu worship practice for abulation of Hindu deities. It is also served as prasad in Hindu temples.
Panchamrita is also used in Ayurveda, so it is an healthy recipe. It is a very easy and quick recipe.
It has very special significance on Janmashtami festival, Diwali festival and day-to-day worship practice in Hindu worship.

- 1/2 cup Milk (Cow's Milk used traditionally)
- 2 tsp Curd
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ghee
- Add all 5 ingredients in a bowl and mix very well.
- Panchamrita is ready. Use it instantly.
