Hello friends, after sharing palak panner and kadai paneer recipes, today I have Paneer Bhurji Recipe (पनीर भुर्जी रेसिपी) for you. It is a main course vegetarian recipe of Indian cuisine and can also be served as a side dish along with dal makhni, dal fry or other curry vegetables.
Paneer bhurji is a delicious and nutritious recipe which can be preapared easily in minutes. It is one of the quickest recipe specially when we have time crisis, and because of its heartiness and quickness it is a perfect recipe for lunch boxes.
It is prepared by grated paneer or Indian cottage cheese, with the use of some basic vegetables including onion, tomatoes, garlic and ginger, green chillis. It is also flavoured with some Indian powdered spices including red chilli, garam masala, cumin seeds, dried mango and finally garnished with fresh coriender leaves which gives it an awesome aroma and appearance.
This recipe is the best replacement of eggs for vegetarians. The best of this recipe is sometimes when the bhurji remain, it can be used as sandwich filling, can be stuffed in parathas and this paneer bhurji also works well for paneer kathi rolls else it can be simply served in the breakfast timings with plain paratha, bread or pav with hot cup of tea or coffee.

- 250 gm Paneer (grated)
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 2 Tomato (finely chopped)
- 2 Green Chili (finely chopped)
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp Jeera Powder
- 1/4 tsp Dried mango powder
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Fresh Coriander Leaves (for garnishing)
- Heat oil in a pan and cook onion in it on medium flame till soft.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato, green chili, salt and turmeric powder in it and cook on low flame until tomato cooked properly.
- Now add all the spices in it and cook the gravy on low flame for 5 minutes. You can also add a small amount of water in it to make smooth gravy.
- Finally add grated cheese in it. Mix it well and cook it on low flame for 2 minutes so the smell of raw cheese will disappear.
- Very delicious paneerbhurji is ready to serve. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve it hot with any bread.
