Plitvice Lakes are renowned worldwide for changing the colors constantly due to the minerals in the water and the angle of sunlight. The colors ranging from azure to green, grey or blue.
Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest national park in Croatia. It was founded in 1949 in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia. It was listed in the UNESCO’s World Heritage site in 1979, and today it is attracting more than 1,200,000 visitors yearly.
Plitvice Lakes National Park is actually worldwide famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Currently, 16 lakes can be seen there from the surface which are interconnected which collectively cover an area of about two square kilometers.
Its color changing feature is a wonder of Mother Nature which makes it incredible for nature lovers.
